My Own Private Guantanamo

Pranks, Power and Pop Culture

I am suffering from a Facebook disability

November 12, 2010

Tried to log in to Facebook about 20 minutes ago and was faced with this screen. I wrote to them asking for an explanation of how exactly I violated their policies, but am not optimistic about getting a satisfactory answer. My hope is that I can at least get them to turn over my original writing and photo content, much of which I did not save. For now, I’ll be moving my online voice and blogging here. I also tweet halfheartedly here. You can also join me at Friendster, where no one has posted a cute cat viral video all day.

Oh, and  please enjoy the  Obama WTF 2.0 meme, which now has over 8,000 likes on Facebook. Or so they tell me.

UPDATE: A  lovely friend has created this fan page to help me gain access to my disabled account. If you’re on FB, please consider “liking” this.
